Overview
Once you have a FASTag, you need to keep the wallet funded for automatic toll deductions. Recharge can be done through your issuing bank's app, UPI apps, or the NHAI MyFASTag app using the vehicle number or wallet ID.
Eligibility
- You have an active FASTag linked to a vehicle or wallet ID
- You have access to a payment method such as UPI, card, or net banking
- Your FASTag is not blacklisted or suspended

- Vehicle registration number or FASTag wallet ID
- Payment method (UPI ID, debit/credit card, net banking)
- No documents need to be uploaded

Open the FASTag issuer portal or app
Open your bank's FASTag portal, NHAI MyFASTag app, or the IHMCL portal. The homepage shows the recharge option.

Choose recharge by vehicle number or wallet ID.

Common Mistakes
Common Errors & Fixes
| Error | Fix |

| Vehicle number not found | Check that the FASTag is active and the vehicle number is entered correctly. |
| Payment failed but amount deducted | Wait 30 minutes for auto-reversal. If not credited, contact the issuer with the transaction ID. |
| Recharge not reflected | Logout and login again. If still missing, raise a complaint with the issuer. |
| FASTag blacklisted | Clear any pending negative balance or contact the issuer to remove the blacklist. |
