Overview
Once a birth is registered, a digital copy of the birth certificate can be downloaded from the Civil Registration System portal using the registration number and date of birth.

Step-by-Step Process
Visit the CRS portal
Open https://crsorgi.gov.in and navigate to the birth certificate search or download section.

Click "Download Certificate" or "Search Birth Record".

Enter registration details
Fill in the registration number, date of birth, and captcha. Some portals also allow search by name and place of birth.

Complete the verification step using the OTP sent to the registered mobile or the captcha shown on the page.

Once verified, view the birth certificate and click Download to save the PDF.
