Overview
If you have moved to a new address, you should update your driving license to ensure it matches your current residence. The Sarathi portal lets you apply for a change of address in your DL and collect the updated smart card from the RTO.
Eligibility
- You hold a valid driving license issued by an Indian RTO
- You have a valid address proof for the new address
- You are applying within the same state RTO jurisdiction or have an NOC if changing state
Documents Required
- Existing driving license
- New address proof (Aadhaar, utility bill, rent agreement)
- Passport-size photographs
- Application form printout
- NOC from current RTO if changing state

After logging in, navigate to the driving licence services and choose the option to change the address in your DL.
