Visit the ESIC portal

Open https://www.esic.in and navigate to the Employer e-Services or Online Employer Registration section.

Click "Online Employer Registration" or "Sign Up".

Sign up as an employer

Create an employer account using the PAN, mobile number, and email. Verify with OTP.

Upload documents

Upload PAN, address proof, bank details, and authorised signatory identity proofs in the prescribed format.

Submit and receive employer code

Review the application and submit. ESIC issues a 17-digit employer code after verification.

Add employees and generate IP numbers

After registration, add employees with their Aadhaar and wages. The system generates an Insurance Person (IP) number and e-Pehchan card for each employee.
