Go to the myAadhaar portal

Navigate to the myAadhaar section. On the homepage you will see the "Login with Aadhaar and OTP" option, which is the gateway to update your mobile number.

Click the Login button to open the Aadhaar OTP login form.

Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha

On the "Login to Aadhaar via OTP" screen, type your 12-digit Aadhaar number and the security captcha shown on the page. Then click "Login With OTP".

Login With OTP

Click this button to request the OTP on your currently registered mobile.

Error: "OTP could not be sent" — This usually means your current mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar. You must visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre to register or update it.

Enter the OTP to log in

You will receive a 6-digit OTP on your currently registered mobile number. Enter it on the next screen and submit to access your myAadhaar dashboard. This step happens after login, so the screen is not publicly accessible.

The OTP is valid for a short time. If it expires, click "Resend OTP". Do not share the OTP with anyone.

Update your mobile number

Inside the update dashboard, select "Mobile Number" as the field to update. Enter your new mobile number twice for confirmation, then submit the request.

Double-check the new number. If you enter it incorrectly, all future Aadhaar OTPs will go to the wrong number.

Pay the fee and save the URN

Pay the ₹50 update fee through the secure payment gateway. After successful payment, the portal displays an Update Request Number (URN). Save or screenshot it to track your request.
